Spearheaded by the visionary leadership of Apostle Dr. Fitzroy Wilson, the 10,000 Points of Light Prayer Initiative is rooted in the powerful promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14. This movement begins with an initial goal of 1,000 prayer locations and at least 3,000 individuals praying, with the vision to expand to 10,000 locations and 30,000 participants over a three-month period.
Through unified prayer, we seek to heal our communities, mend broken hearts, restore families, and bring hope to those in need.
Volunteer your home or a designated space as a Point of Light for 2-3 people to gather and pray during a scheduled time on a Saturday.*
*Hosting does not require leading the session.
Leaders will facilitate the gatherings and guide the prayers using weekly issued prayer points.
Volunteers that meet at the Point of Light location at the scheduled time to pray according to the weekly prayer points.
These sessions will be held weekly and be 30 minutes long, focusing on the weekly prayer points.
Leaders are required to provide systematic feedback on the progress and impact of the gatherings as part of the initiative's data collection process.
Discover how you can play a vital role in the 10,000 Points of Light Prayer Initiative by becoming either a Point of Light or a Light Bearer. Click on the tabs below to learn more about each role and how you can contribute to this movement of prayer and healing.
Becoming a Point of Light means opening your home or designated space as a prayer hub. These locations will serve as spiritual altars where two or three individuals can gather weekly for 30 minutes of prayer. As a host, you provide a welcoming space for prayer but are not required to lead the sessions. Whether it’s your living room, office, or another convenient location, your willingness to create a Point of Light can help cover our nation in God’s presence.
A Light Bearer is someone committed to actively participating in prayer sessions at a Point of Light. Light Bearers bring the power of prayer to life by meeting with others and following structured prayer points issued weekly. As a Light Bearer, you become part of a prayer force, shining God’s light into communities and interceding for the healing and restoration of our nation. Your role is crucial in spreading hope and transformation through this united effort.
